Two flying centres have been redeveloped in the Massif des Monédières and Dordogne valley areas of the Corrèze, near Argentat. Flying is now possible all year round, regardless of wind direction, from nine fully-equipped and safe sites. And proving the quality of their facilities, they hosted the 2007 international hang-gliding and paragliding competition between France and England, the Bleriot Cup. Two schools with certified instructors offer discovery days, courses for beginners and the advanced and introductory paragliding and hang-gliding flights throughout the year. Les Chancèves recreational flying centre near Argentat also organises introductory micro-light flights.
