Appelboom - résidence d’artistes

The Appelboom association, an artist residence, is open from April to November. Residencies can last anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the time required to carry out the artists’ various projects. Appelboom promotes interdisciplinarity by selecting and programming artists from various fields: musicians, composers, dancers, choreographers, designers, artists, video makers, landscapers, architects… Residencies enable artists to research and experiment, exchange, meet and network. The link between their projects and the places they are created, their inhabitants, landscapes and environmental characteristics is emphasized at Appelboom. Once completed, the pieces are presented publicly through concerts, exhibitions and performances. The association’s complete programme is available at www.lapommerie.org .Visitors can take a free tour of the residence (some relocated events may have entrance fees). Open during residencies and exhibitions, from 1st April to 30th November, from 2 pm to 6 pm. You can also meet the artists (booking required).
