This museum dedicated to the Middle Ages is housed in an attractive 18C building. The centre provides an informative overview of the history, art and techniques of the medieval world. The centre’s layout and exhibits provide an interactive approach to daily and monastic life, as well as religious art in the Middle Ages. Guided tours and temporary exhibitions. Beginners’ workshops (illuminated manuscripts, calligraphy, leatherwork and embroidery). Activity books for kids. Open from 9 February to 11 November, 10am-1pm and 2-7pm, Thursday to Sunday during the Christmas, Spring and early November school holidays, and daily (except Tuesday) in summer. Open Thursday to Saturday at other times of year. Guided tours for groups of more than 10 participants (prior booking required). Duration: 1hr 30min. Entrance fee.
