Château de Sédières

Surrounded by 130ha of forest, lakes and rivers, 3km from Clergoux, the medieval Château de Sédières now belongs to the Conseil Général. The castle offers a range of outdoor activities throughout the year (mountain biking trails and centre, orienteering courses, hikingetc) and every summer hosts a festival of exhibitions, entertainment (children’s shows, contemporary music and opera) and other events. Open daily, 17 June to 23 September, 10am-6.30pm. Temporary exhibitions out of season (March-May and October-December) from Wednesday to Sunday, 2-6pm. Boutique. Open at other times of year for groups by prior arrangement. Barn converted into a theatre and seminar room for hire. Duration: 40min. Entrance fee: 4€/adults; reduced rate : 2€, free for children 11 and under; 2€/groups; joint ticket for 2 sites. Bar (open from 17 June to 23 September) and restaurant with a shaded terrace. Open for lunch daily in July and August. Mountain biking centre on-site.
