European otter exhibition

Moulin de Barthou on the banks of the Petite Vézère The fish farm at the Moulin de Barthou has become a nationally important experimental pilot site for the European otter. The emblem of the Parc Naturel Régional "Millevaches en Limousin", the otter is a key indicator of the good quality of river water. Tour of the fish farm and and the nature educational trail, daily, from 1 May to 30 September, 9am-noon and 2-7pm ; Monday afternoon to Saturday, the rest of the year, 9am-noon and 3-6pm. Guided tours by prior arrangement for groups and unaccompanied visits for individual visitors. Entrance fee. Family fishing activities also available, including equipment and bait with a deposit of 5 €. Trout on sale all year round.
