Exploring the Transcorrézien routes

The former tracks of the TRANSCORREZIEN railway line provide visitors with a different perspective on the Corrèze, following routes based around the former track which ran from the Monts des Monédières to the Gorges de la Dordogne. Discover the wild, varied landscapes,local history and delicious regional specialities of the towns and villages once crossed by this unique train which is no longer in commercial service. Explore the old restored railway stations along the route, meet friendly locals and marvel at the magnificent Viaduc des Rochers Noirs, a listed historic monument spanning the dramatic Luzège gorge. Transcorréziens organises a range of sporting and cultural events along the route, including a car rally for tourists, exhibitions, Randonnée du Transcorrézien event, film shows etc.
