Dedicated to rivers and fishing, this museum provides visitors with information on local and regional studies carried out in lakes and rivers. An exhibition hall houses displays of fishing materials, fly hooks, the hydrography of the Upper Dordogne Valley, local species and fishing cockerels. It also offers meeting rooms for seminars and conferences. Subject to demand, the Maison de l'Eau and de la Pêche offers year-round beginners’ and improvers’ fishing courses for the general public run by its one fully qualified fishing guide (fly fishing for carnivorous fish in a local reservoir etc). More tailor-made services are also available upon request. The exhibition is open for groups all year round by prior arrangement and as part of guided tours. Entrance fee.
