Situated in the heart of the medieval quarter next to the cathedral, the Musée du Cloître André Mazeyrie is housed in the remains of the Saint-Martin de Tulle Benedictine monastery, a listed historical monument. Its Gothic cloisters are notable for their fine arcades and the chapterhouse containing valuable 14C paintings. The museum houses varied collections, including exhibits on local life and discoveries in the region, as well as the history of the Bas-Limousin. Temporary exhibitions. Open daily (except Tuesday) and the first and third Sundays of the month. - 1 May to 31 October, 10am-1pm and 2-6.30pm. - 1 November to 30 April, 1-6pm. Free.
