This museum, housed in the former home of Edmond Michelet, resistant and statesman (1899-1970), the museum is devoted to the history of the Second World War. Nine showrooms allow you to discover different aspects of the Second World War: Resistance and Deportation, the Vichy regime and its propaganda image, daily life under the Occupation, the liberation of Brive. The route of Edmond Michelet is evoked through personal items and original documents. Temporary exhibitions. Open 2 January to 24 December, daily, except Sunday and public holidays, 10am-noon and 2-6pm. No charge. Guided tours for groups upon request. Audioguided tours available in French and English.
