The National Accordion Centre (Pole Accordéons) houses the largest collection of free reed instruments in France including accordions, concertinas, bandoneons, melodeons, harmony flutes, mass-produced instruments and unique pieces which have belonged to some of the world’s most famous musicians, which combine to create a documentary and musical archive of major importance. Special visits for groups by request, including an overview of the history of the accordion in the Corrèze, the Musée de la Mémoire project and related industries in Tulle. Visits also possible as part of the Festival des Nuits de Nacre and the National Heritage Days initiative.
