The Limousin Apple Road AOP

The aim of the Limousin Apple Route is to promote the various aspects of the land associated with the A.O.P. (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) Limousin apple. - Tours of the orchards every Thursday in July-August at 11am and of the cooperatives every Thursday in July at 4.30pm. Prior booking required via local tourist offices, - Tastings at restaurants, and with local artisans and farm producers, - A visit to the Maison de la Pomme in Lanouaille, including a walk enabling visitors to better appreciate and learn more about this juicy, crunchy fruit, with a subtle balance of sugar and acidity.
