This open-air museum has recreated with great accuracy a group of thatched cottages in their natural environment of gardens and orchards. Affording superb views of the Auvergne mountains, this museum is both a conservatory of plants traditionally found on medieval sites and a farm inhabited by a variety of typical farm animals. Open from Easter to 30 September:- Easter to 30 June and 1-30 September: open every afternoon (except Saturday) from 2-6pm; - July-August, daily from 10am-noon and 2-7pm. Guided tours for individual visitors at specified times on Sundays, public holidays and daily in July-August. By prior arrangement for groups from Easter to 31 October.
