Description and demonstration of how oak and chestnut barrels and flower tubs are made. An explanation is also given on the use of oak for ageing wine and spirits. Cooperage museum. Video showing the manufacture of a barrel from start to finish. Open every day, except Sundays, from 1 June to 31 October, 8am-noon and 2-6pm. By prior arrangement the rest of the year. Groups of 15 to 20 people, book 2 days in advance, tours last 30-45min. Guided tours for individual visitors on specific dates in July, August and September (Tel: 05 55 24 08 80).
